Founded in 1981, the Law Offices of Thomas W. Falvey specializes in employment matters, including class-action litigation in federal and state court. Shoff, et al v. AT&T, et al, Case No. CV 07-3289 DSF (AGRX (C.D. Cal.), $16,000,000 settlement in wage and hour class action involving California Labor Code violations.
Silva, et al v. Getronics, et al, L.A.S.C. Case No. BC 368 049 resulting in a settlement on behalf of approximately 400 employees, for a total settlement value of $1.55 million.
Thomas W. Falvey has been licensed to practice law in the State of California since 1975.
He founded the Law Offices of Thomas W. Falvey in 1981. Prior to that he was an attorney with the firm of Bodkin, McCarthy, Sargent & Smith (previously known as Bodkin, Breslin & Luddy), working primarily as a defense attorney. He has been practicing in the field of employment law since 1980, and has, since then, continuously represented employee-plaintiffs. His firm has represented employees at all levels including the federal and state trial courts, the California Court of Appeal, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
He received his Juris Doctor degree in December 1975 from U.C.L.A. School of Law and became licensed to practice law California at that time. The litigation of wage and hour cases, including class action matters under both state and federal law, is a significant part of his day-to-day practice. He currently has many cases pending, and has filed numerous cases which have resulted in positive results for literally thousands of individuals, involving plaintiff’s employment law, in both federal and state court.

J.D. Henderson is a partner in the Law Offices of Thomas W. Falvey. He graduated from UCLA School of Law in 2004, where he served as the Student Bar Association President, was named a Distinguished Advocate, and was selected for the prestigious Jessup International Moot Court Competition team. His team entered the best performance in the history of UCLA.
Prior to law school J.D. was a soldier in the US Army. He enlisted as a rifleman, served as a non-commissioned officer, and then was commissioned an infantry officer. J.D. served at various locations around the world. He was named the 1993 Distinguished Military Graduate from Clemson University, where he earned a B.A. in history.
J.D.'s current practice focuses on class action wage and hour litigation on behalf of underpaid employees as well as consumer rights class action litigation. Along with his law partner Tom Falvey, in the last few years J.D. has successfully litigated numerous multi-million dollar wage and hour class action lawsuits against large and powerful corporate defendants, recovering over $62 million dollars in unpaid wages on behalf of thousands of underpaid employees.
J.D. is a member of CELA (the California Employment Lawyers Association), CAALA (Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles) and LEFTJAW (Legal Eagles for Truth, Justice and the American Way).

Judy D. Jonas is a partner in the Law Offices of Thomas W. Falvey. She has extensive experience working on complex class action cases involving wage loss and workplace injury claims. She is known for her passion and empathy in representing clients facing catastrophic losses. She has served a broad range of individuals, from mesothelioma victims exposed to asbestos, to whistle blowers fired by large institutions and commercial fishermen who lost their livelihood following oil spills. As a San Francisco Deputy City Attorney in the Complex Litigation Department, she worked on the resolution of a high profile class action discrimination case against the San Francisco Fire Department.
Judy received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and her Master of Law (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Her former academic appointments include an assistant professorship at UC Berkeley and a teaching fellowship at Georgetown University Law Center’s Institute for Public Representation. She is a member of CELA (the California Employment Lawyers Association).
